Chun-Yi Wang

Founder and President of the Los Angeles International Performing Arts Institute (L.A.I.P.A.I.), Dr. Chun-Yi Wang currently maintains full piano studios in Arcadia and Rowland Heights. As a winner of the Rubinstein Scholarship, he attended the Juilliard School, where he earned his Bachelors and Masters Degrees. He was awarded the Mary Clapp Howell Scholarship and carried out his graduate studies at Yale University. With full scholarships, Mr. Wang made extensive studies at the Academy of the West Santa Barbara, CA; Ecole Noramle de Musique de Paris, France; and Conservatorio Nazionale di Bologna, Italy, where he earned his Performance Diploma. He made his doctoral studies at Indiana University and UCLA. Dr. Wang had studied with Robert Turner (Santa Monica), Joanna Graudan (Pacific Palisade), Ania Dorfmann (Juilliard), Oxana Yablonskaya (Juilliard), Jerome Lowenthal (Academy of the West, Santa Barbara, CA), Donald Currier (Yale University), Luigi Mostacci (Bologna, Italy), Jean Micault (Paris, France) Germaine Mounier (Paris, France), and Elena Luba-Dubinsky (Indiana University).
